I wanted to write up a quick tutorial for anyone who wants to insert pictures into their posts, but might not know how to. All you have to do is click the “Add an Image” button next to the Upload/Insert area of the toolbar. When you are writing your posts, it is right above the buttons that let you change the fonts and bullet points.
Next, you will be presented with a box that allows you to add media from your computer. Once you do this, another box will pop up allowing you to edit the pictures properties. Now, this is the important part. If you just click “Save all changes”, the picture won’t appear in the post. You have to click the “Insert Into Post” button to make it go into your post. If you accidentally click “Save all Changes”, just click the “Insert image” button again, and click the Media Library tab in the box that pops up. Then, click “Show” next to the image you want to insert, and you will be presented with the image’s properties box again, in which you can click the insert button.
That’s all there is to it. I got a little confused at first when I clicked the “save” button and no picture showed up, so I thought other people might have gotten a little confused too, maybe.
